TERMS & CONDITIONS

.

Enrolment of The Spiritual Studio courses constitutes full acceptance, understanding and agreement to comply with our academy’s terms and conditions as below.

1. All students must have a fully proficient understanding of both written and spoken English. Should you require to bring an interpreter to your zoom class then an arrangement of such is the sole responsibility of the student and The Spiritual Studio must be informed at the point of booking.

The interpreter must hold a proficient command of both written and spoken English to a high level. The academy reserves the right to refuse a student’s attendance without a refund should their interpreter hold an unsatisfactory level of English. All interpreters must strictly not in any way undertake any practical work on behalf of the student.

2. All students attending courses at the academy who enrol for the flagship course have full use of professional tarot cards as provided by the school. Students are welcome to bring their own equipment to work with such as their own personal tarot or angel cards.

3. All students are permitted to notify the academy of any illnesses, allergies, learning disabilities, medical conditions or physical disabilities held at the point of booking prior to starting the course.

4. The Spiritual Studio does not accept any responsibility or liability for loss, theft or damage of students’ personal belongings. Students are responsible for their personal belongings at all times and ensure they are protected and safe.

5. Students who cause any damage to the academy premises or academy equipment will be liable and charged accordingly

6. All students must be dressed suitably for educational work. We recommend a smart casual dress code.

7. All students who enrol at The Spiritual Studio must be strictly aged 18 or above.

A student may be asked to produce legal ID / Proof of age upon registration to their tutor and therefore all students are required to be able to provide such if requested. Failure to provide sufficient ID will result in non-enrolment and strictly no refund made.

8. All course payments made to the academy are strictly non-refundable, and no exceptions are made for any circumstance whatsoever, whether personal, unforeseen or medical.

All courses require full payment in order to secure a reservation and to be constituted as fully enrolled. By making payment, the student is acknowledging and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Spiritual Studio.

9. In the event that you are unable to attend your course the following charges will be applied to reschedule.

More than 28 days notice – No Charge

Less than 14 -28 days notice – £100 (re-booking fee)

Less than 14 days - The Academy may not be able to re-sell your seat in less than two weeks notice and this is a financial loss to the academy. Therefore less than 14 days notice constitutes no refund deemed feasible and all students must pay the full course fees again in order to reinstate a new enrolment.

10. Please note all course payments made to the academy are non-refundable. See above for re-scheduling of course date charges.

11. Should a student fail to attend first-day registration or fail to complete the duration of the course enrolled upon, strictly no refund or alternate course date will be issued unless a legitimate reason is supplied (ie. doctors letters, hospital attendance etc) and the academy manager deems a re-booking is viable. Re-booking is not a given and is at the sole description and ultimately the personal decision of the academy director

12. For the purposes of education and marketing, our in house photographer may periodically take pictures throughout the year of a class in session if required by our academy. All students who are enrolled on our courses are agreeing to the above to take place if a photographer is scheduled the week of their training. The photographer will not in any way disturb the class in action or training, but will simply take photographs of the students and tutors interacting.

Images taken will be used in online marketing, PR, academy prospectus or other printed material that we produce, as well as our website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

We may also make video and audio recordings of students in class, performing at events and our school productions. These videos may be used on our website, YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Twitter pages or DVD’s.

From time to time, the school may be visited by the media who will take photographs of students, which may appear in local or national newspapers or televised news programmes or social media  / respective social channels.

13. No photography or videoing of any student/s in-class time is permitted by students or parents/carers, without prior permission.

14. In the rare unforeseen event of severe tutor sickness during any given session, the class will be dismissed for the day and any tutorial hours missed will be provided via extra hours scheduled throughout the course to ensure full tuition is received by course completion.

15. In the rare circumstance that you are unhappy with the training provided you should take the lead tutor/director aware during your course on the day of any concerns. This allows us to work with you to resolve any matters. All students are required to fill in a daily feedback sheet to allow us to identify any students who may need extra help along the way.

Upon successful course completion, all students are required to fill in a course feedback form and testimonial form. This allows us to monitor and maintain high standards within the practice of teaching in our academy.

16. This course endeavours to provide entry-level beginners skills to the industry. We are not liable for our graduates to pass their trade test with an external company upon seeking work. However should they not viably pass their trade test upon the first attempt and can provide genuine proof of such, we offer a complimentary one-on-one 1-hour zoom session with their tutor to refresh and help boost their skills and confidence.

17. All students are required to have a good internet connection in order to undertake their course and be able to use ZOOM successfully. Any disruption to their learning via a poor internet connection does not constitute the student any form of refund unless this is a proven national telecoms outage/failure. All students will have to provide legal written proof of such to their course tutor by their internet provider in the event of such.

It is the students' responsibility to ensure their technical equipment is fully charged at all times, their audio is working and internet connectivity/reception is of a high grade. We advise all students to test their technical equipment and internet connection thoroughly before the day of the course start.
